The 6th edition of the World Nuclear Exhibition (WNE), the largest global trade show for civil nuclear energy, concluded on November 6 after three days of excitement and exchanges at the Villepinte Exhibition Center. Once again this year, the event confirmed its status as a must-attend gathering for the entire global civil nuclear industry.
Over 1,070 exhibitors and 36,000 participants from more than 80 countries
The 2025 edition sets a historic record with over 1,070 exhibitors and 36,000 participants from more than 80 countries, representing an increase of over 50% compared to the previous edition. This success reflects the renewed appeal and dynamism of the sector, supported by 24 national pavilions and a strengthened international presence.
In a context marked by the climate emergency and the need to transform global energy systems, WNE 2025 has structured its program around two key themes: "Nuclear today and tomorrow" (acceleration of programs, innovation, supply chain, AI, next-generation reactors…) and "Electricity & Beyond" (nuclear applications in health, agriculture, space, heat, hydrogen, and desalination).
Leading figures from the French and international institutional, political, and industrial sectors were present to support the industry's commitment to decarbonization, innovation, and global economic growth.
Among the notable new features, the Beyond Electricity Expo (BEE) space showcased over 20 international projects highlighting the diverse applications of civil nuclear energy, from medicine to agriculture, as well as hydrogen production and water desalination, emphasizing the sector's ability to address the major challenges of our time in health, environment, and energy access.
The 2025 edition also highlighted innovation with the Startup Program, the Startup Village, and the growing success of the WNE Innovation Awards (+40% international participation).
The Job & Training Space welcomed more than 1,250 students and job seekers, highlighting the sector's key role in the future of employment and skills.
Finally, the 2025 edition stood out with the creation of a pop-up bookstore, designed to broaden visitors' horizons.
This new space invited participants to explore and take home reference books on nuclear energy, some of which were signed by their authors.
"Once again, WNE delivered on its promises: exhibitors and visitors were able to make as many, if not more, meetings and contract signings in 3 days as they would in 6 months. The richness and diversity of our exhibitors allow us to represent the entire sector, but this 2025 edition was also an opportunity to highlight other applications of nuclear energy, with our new Beyond Electricity Expo, an immersive space at the entrance of the show."
Sylvie Bermann, President of WNE
France Pavilion and GIFEN booth: relive the highlights in video
The France Pavilion and the GIFEN booth were at the heart of the event's activity.
On the France Pavilion side, the three days were marked by 18 company pitches, providing a dynamic showcase of the expertise of the French sector. International cooperation was also highlighted thanks to visits from numerous foreign delegations: United Kingdom, China, Netherlands, Italy, Belgium, South Korea, Japan, Poland, Ukraine, Switzerland, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Czech Republic.
These exchanges led to the signing of several agreements between the French sector and their counterparts, notably with Finland, Japan, Ukraine, and Belgium, strengthening international cooperation and the global influence of the French nuclear industry.
The France Pavilion cocktail brought together nearly 800 participants in a friendly atmosphere conducive to networking and strengthening the ties among all the pavilion’s exhibitors.
The GIFEN booth was also active, hosting numerous important events. On November 4th, the signing of the Supplier Relations and Responsible Purchasing Charter took place in the presence of Roland Lescure, Minister of Economy, Finance, and Industrial, Energy, and Digital Sovereignty, Xavier Ursat, President of GIFEN, and Maria Faury, Permanent Delegate of CSFN, marking a key moment symbolizing the sector’s commitment to a responsible supply chain. The booth also hosted the presentation of the WiN France Initiative Award – Europe Edition, daily presentations of GIFEN programs (COACH, PEON, CARTO), highlights focused on digital technology (Data4nuclear X), the nuclear SME accelerator led by Bpifrance, and many moments dedicated to innovation, notably through the Nuclear 4.0 pathways over the three days.
The GIFEN cocktail brought together over 400 participants for a festive and unifying event, while the final day saw the signing of a joint declaration between GIFEN and 16 international nuclear associations, in the presence of Monique Barbut, Minister of Ecological Transition, confirming the sector’s commitment on the global stage ahead of COP 30.
"The outstanding success of this edition of the WNE demonstrates how significant the French nuclear sector is on the global stage. The WNE is a unique opportunity to showcase the expertise, innovation, and commitment of our collective. I would like to warmly thank all the companies that, through their participation and dedication, help to proudly represent the sector."

Relive in video the energy and warmth that filled the France Pavilion and the GIFEN booth during the three days of WNE 2025. This footage highlights both the mobilization of the entire French ecosystem, the diversity of exhibitors present, and the richness of the encounters that animated these two spaces: the France Pavilion as a showcase of the expertise and dynamism of the French nuclear industry, and the GIFEN booth as a meeting point for members, partners, and the entire ecosystem. A big thank you to Provence Promotion, Oakridge, and IDEA, sponsors of the France Pavilion, for their support of this essential showcase of French excellence.
