GIFEN

GIFEN is the trade association for the entire nuclear industry in France. It brings together more than 430 companies, including operators in the sector, large companies, small and medium-sized enterprises, very small businesses, professional organisations and associations.

GIFEN was created to provide joint responses to the needs of the industry:

• to improve industrial performance ;
• to support the industrial development of the sector in France and internationally;
• to represent and carry the voice of the sector;
• to offer value-creating services.

GIFEN's scope of action covers all types of industrial activities and all areas of nuclear power generation. It works closely with the authorities, the ministries and the Strategic Committee for the Nuclear Industry. It deals with cross-cutting issues in the nuclear industry and offers services of common interest to nuclear players.
