Association Française du Soudage

Association Française du Soudage ( French Welding Association - AFS) was created jointly by Institut de Soudure (IS) and the French Society of Welding Engineers, Scientists and Technicians (SIS). It meets the needs of companies in the implementation of welding and related techniques.

With its rich and long experience, AFS has developed real expertise in the welding and bonding sector, recognized both in France and internationally. AFS clients are present in France, but also in Africa (Angola, Tunisia, Morocco) and Asia (Thailand, Kazakhstan). Its many certifications, attestations, etc. in particular have become benchmark diplomas in the sector.

Finally, the association is accredited by the International Institute of Welding (IIW) and the European Federation for Welding, Joining and Cutting (EWF). AFS is the ANB (Authorized Nominated Body) for the issuance of international diplomas in joining ( welding & bonding, IWE, IWT, IWS, IWIP, EAB, EAS ...) and the ANBCC (Authorized Nominated Body for Companies Certification) for the certification according to ISO3834 of manufacturers of  welded equipment.
