Proagora: a central hub for training linked to the EPR2 project
2025 — A campus dedicated to skills in high-demand sectors
Created in the context of the EPR2 construction project at Penly, Proagora Arques, located in Arques-la-Bataille, has established itself as a strategic site for structuring the training offer in the region. With over 1,400 m² already renovated, this campus dedicated to high-demand occupations meets the growing need for skilled workers in key industrial sectors, particularly those involved in this major energy initiative.
Designed to support training centres, independent trainers, and businesses, Proagora offers:
Private offices for rent,
Modular training rooms, fully equipped with state-of-the-art digital technologies,
A coworking space that encourages collaboration among training and economic development stakeholders.
Beyond its physical facilities, Proagora fosters coordination, resource-sharing, and the development of educational and industrial partnerships. As a true resource hub, it actively supports the local ecosystem in addressing the challenges of skills development, recruitment, and workforce training linked to the EPR2 project and its regional impact.
By the end of 2026 — Scaling up with the full site renovation
By the end of 2026, the renovation of the remaining 27,000 m² of industrial wasteland will allow the project’s full potential to be realised. New technical platforms will be built to accommodate hands-on training in key strategic fields such as:
Electrical engineering,
Electromechanics,
Welding,
and other high-demand trades.
This expansion will strengthen Proagora’s role as a centre of excellence for industrial training in Normandy, serving the region, young people, workers in retraining, and companies seeking skilled talent.
