Presentation

Piercan was founded in 1948. Its head office is located in Port en Bessin. Piercan has 200 employees.
Our main activity is the manufacture of gloves, glove boxes and cuffs for the pharmaceutical, research, nuclear and hospital industries. We also manufacture technical rubber parts.

PIERCAN processes the full range of elastomers (butyl, CSM, polyurethane, radio-protected polyurethane, bi-coat ....) to provide the most appropriate protection for its customers. 

PIERCAN supplies the biggest names in the nuclear industry worldwide (CEA-ORANO-BNFL-BARC.... PIERCAN has a joint patent with ORANO on a radioprotected glove. 

PIERCAN also produces PVC sleeves and goggles at its BONDY plant. 

PIERCAN is ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified.

PIERCAN also has a production unit in California.
