NEWCLEO SA

A European private company founded in 2021, newcleo's ambition is to develop, build and operate innovative 4th generation fast neutron reactors with a power of 200 MWe using lead as a coolant. 

newcleo has set up in France to:

• Develop key innovative technologies in the framework of research programs with French and European organizations and manufacturers
• Commission a 30 MWe demonstrator in 2030, including MOX fuel fabrication on French nuclear industrial sites
• Organize the engineering and supply chain at the heart of the French industrial network
• Develop innovative applications (medical, energy, etc.) with leading French and European partners
• Develop and implement a global solution contributing to closing the fuel cycle, limiting the use of resources, recovering and reducing the volume and activity of residual radioactive materials
