Since 1947, MERGER has been designing, manufacturing and installing durable industrial mechanical transmission solutions for particular customers. Originally owned by MERGER's family in Strasbourg, MERGER's company was taken over by an industrial family from Lyon specializing in mechanical transmission - LE GOFF Group. This new family shareholding now enables MERGER's company to renew the values and quality like it was at the beginning. The service, quality and responsiveness of our teams bring a new start to the design and manufacture of speed gearboxes. In 2019, MERGER company bought PIV France company.
MERGER is already present in many nuclear power plants in France and abroad. MERGER equips a large part of the lifting systems in operation and in the different stages of nuclear process: water treatment, waste disposal, fuel handling.
