Lemer Foundry - 59 employees - in Nantes area (France) was created in 1878 and deals with low melting point alloys. The turnover is about 10 M€ and it handles nearly 1200 Tons of alloys per year- especially Lead, Tin, Bismuth, Antimony, Zinc, Copper, Calcium…Various casting ways - low pressure, high pressure, centrifugation, gravity sand and gravity die. A large range of parts - unit parts and high serial units from 1 single Gram to tens of Tons of foundry. Products can be delivered with raw, manufactured or coated foundry using tin, nickel and painting processes for instance. Main business sectors include fishing, diving, boat keels, counterweight cranes, batteries…Nuclear industry : all Lead or alloys parts for radiation protection – serial units (Lead shot in bags or in bulk), herringbone or standard bricks, herringbone half tubes for transfer lines, Lead pots and engineered units – hot cells, Lead castles, bunkers, radiation shielding, gutters, glove boxes, armoured chains.
