ISTP has been training engineers in work-study programs for over 30 years, historically in partnership with Mines Saint-Étienne and since 2023 with Arts et Métiers. Our courses, from post-baccalaureate to engineering diploma, meet the major challenges of industrial and energy sovereignty. A key player in the national nuclear industry, ISTP has been training nuclear plant engineers for over 16 years, graduating from Mines Saint-Étienne under an agreement with INSTN. More than 700 engineers have already graduated (300 are still in training). Working closely with IRUP (CEFRI F-certified, EDF-approved), we run a complete nuclear center, from technician to engineer. Our pedagogical approach places the company at the heart of the program (skills orientation), with each learner leading a project, a source of added value, supervised by an engineer tutor from the institute and from industry, guaranteeing the development of conceptual skills and the ability to obtain lasting results.
