The BNEN (Bureau de normalisation d’équipements nucléaires) is the French Bureau of Nuclear Standardization acting on the authority of the French Standardization organization AFNOR.

Various nuclear designers, builders, operators and research organisms gathered into the BNEN in 1989 in order to promote their expertise, materials and equipment within Europe and around the globe.

The BNEN is a State-approved non-profit organization whose area of expertise is the standardization in civil nuclear activities such as nuclear terminology, reactors, fuel cycle, protection against radiation, nuclear medical applications and specific equipment.
