With more than 2,500 employees involved in the engineering of new build and operating nuclear projects, AtkinsRéalis is one of the leading independent engineering companies in Europe and the Middle East in the nuclear sector.

AtkinsRéalis works in the United Kingdom for EDF Energy on NPP under operation or being dismantled and new build with HPC and SZC EPR projects by notably supporting EDF CNEPE and EDVANCE.

In the Middle East, AtkinsRéalis assists ENEC for the Barakah power plant.

In France, AtkinsRéalis has been present since 2010 on the ITER project by participating through Engage in the Architect Engineer contract. With the opening of the French subsidiary, AtkinsRéalis has taken a new step in its desire to become an active partner in the service and within the French nuclear industry, by particularly supporting the development of the EPR2 and EPR1200.
